Hey Guys! Today I was hoping we could have some real talk.
Kindness is defined as the quality of being friendly, generous or considerate. Lately though, in my environment. Like in school and in my neighbourhood, I have noticed a lack of kindness in the people around me, and that just breaks my heart. When I see people on the road begging for food and money and I see people locking doors, or when I see people on the road beating or mugging a poor helpless woman/ girl I ask myself why. Why do people forget to treat people who are supposed to be human beings as well…? Human Beings! The fact that we are even alive or the fact that we are human obligates you to give kindness to that person.
Galatians 5:13 – “For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.” It basically says that God has given us the power to free and to be individual and because he has given us that freedom, we should also acknowledge the fact that others have the same right to freedom as you and you should not subject to hostility or spite just because you feel like it. That is wrong and I hope you guys are way better than that.
Society has evolved to the extent that it is now registered as being “cool” when you are mean to other people if they don’t have as much as you or if they don’t know the same kinds of songs as you. When in actual life none of those things really matter.
My friends all I ask of you is that when you see someone in need please help them, if you see someone who needs money give them.
I hope I have been able to spread a message across to you my friends that just because it may seem cool to be mean and spiteful, it doesn’t mean that it’s right. As Luke 6: 31 says- “And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them.” Which basically means: Treat others in such a way that you wanted to be treated.
Stay fun and Have a Fantabulous day.
, XOXO Ivy
