As a huge fan of music, I would definitely say watching Singing Competition shows are one of the best ways to bond with your family, the singing along with the songs, the anticipation of who is going to win, the snarky comments of the contestants even though you can’t sing better than them in a million years. It’s just AMAMZING. So, I have decided to share some of my favourite singing competition shows. Just so you know if one of your favourites isn’t here it doesn’t mean it’s not good it just means I don’t watch it.
#1: The Masked Singer
The Masked Singer is a Singing Competition Guessing show, where celebrities are disguised in costumes, head to toe in such a way you will never know who they are. They hide their identities from the Host, Panellists and Audience. Almost no one knows who they are. The only way you can probably recognise them is by their clues, voice and natural behaviour.
I love absolutely everything about this show, I love the panellists, I love the costumes, I love the songs the contestants pick, I love the host of the show, I love the way they pick new guest panellists every week, I love the way it is also social media based, I love the…….. Everything. I really can’t wait for the next season of it.
#2: The Voice
The Voice is an American Blind Auditions Singing Competition where contestants are picked and trained by the professional judges on the panels, at the end of the season there will be a winner
I love this show because of the judges and the fact that it is a blind audition. One thing I don’t get though is that when they turn over and see who it is, they start saying nice things about their voice and I’m like: Why didn’t you pick them in the first place, Dum Dum! Other than that, I absolutely love the show, you should definitely watch it😁
#3: American Idol
American Idol is an American Singing Competition, where different Americans come and showcase their talent for singing, judged by esteemed judges to try and win a record label deal.
There are sooooooo many reasons why I love this show. Number one is: SIMON COWELL! I mean, need I go further. I also love the way that some of them are so rude to the judges and that just makes me laugh. I also love seeing the happiness in the contestants faces when they win.
#4: The X Factor
The X Factor is an American reality television music competition show created by Simon Cowell and produced by Fremantle Media North America and SYCOtv, a partnership between Cowell and Sony Music Entertainment, which aired on Fox. The series employs a panel of judges who critique the contestants’ performances.
I just finished binge-watching every episode of The X Factor and I have honestly just fell in love with all the judges and the contestants. I also love all the super nice contestants and also the super rude ones. 😅😅
#5: America’s Got Talent
Amateur performers present their singing, dancing, comedy and novelty acts to celebrity judges and a nationwide audience in order to advance in the competition and win a huge prize.
This is technically not a singing competition but I still love it! There are so many talented people with amazing acts and I just love the diversity!!!! I just love everything.
